Airlink Expenses Drop

While it does not report regional revenues separately, Northwest (NWA) indicated Northwest Airlink expenses were down to $305 million during the second quarter compared to $366 million in the year-ago period. For the first half, expenses dropped dramatically from $736 million in the year-ago period to $579 million in the first half of 2007. In its guidance to investors regional capacity rose between three and four percent in Q2 but is expected to end the year flat at no increase or just one percent.
