Indonesia's Lion Group, are forming a new partnership to develop flight-training programs for the group's subsidiary airlines.
Under the new partnership, Airbus
will provide training documentation and tools for training courses for Airbus
aircraft conducted at Lion Group's Angkasa Aviation Academy.
“The decision to partner with Airbus for provision of flight training services, demonstrates that Lion Group and Angkasa Aviation Academy are investing heavily in training and are continuing to bring to Indonesia internationally recognized training courses,” says Rusdi Kirana, president and director of Lion Group.
The training documentation will be in accordance with Airbus and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) standards.
In March 2013, Lion Group placed its first ever order with Airbus for 234 A320s.
