Airbus has released its latest global market forecast (GMF) for Brazil, predicting that the country will require 1,060 new aircraft over the next 20 years.
According to Airbus, Brazil will require 700 single-aisle, 310 twin-aisle and 50 very large aircraft at a market value of $160.7 billion by 2031.
Additionally, the manufacturer said Brazil’s domestic air traffic market has doubled since 2006, making it the fourth largest passenger traffic market in the world.
In September, Airbus released a GMF predicting demand for more than 28,000 new aircraft worldwide to keep up with air traffic growth over the next 20 years.
