Air Canada 1900 Closes Albany

An Air Canada flight operated by Air Georgian blew all the tires aboard a Beech 1900 landing at Albany International Airport in New York last Friday. The airport was closed temporarily owing to where the aircraft came to rest. Enroute from Toronto to Manchester, N.H. the aircraft landed at 10:54 a.m. with no injuries to the seven passengers and two crew. Four aircraft en route to Albany were forced to divert either to Manchester or Syracuse. The aircraft left a 1,000-foot skid mark on the runway.
