ATR Inaugurates Flight Training Center in Singapore

ATR inaugurated its new flight training center in Singapore on Friday at a ceremony. The new center is located at the Seletar Aerospace Park, with the capacity to train 600 pilots and aircraft maintenance technicians per year.

“We are pleased to expand our presence with this new training facility focused on the rapidly growing regional carrier market in South East Asia," said ATR’s CEO Filippo Bagnato.

The center’s flight training equipment has EASA certification and the capability to train pilots and maintenance crew on a variety of ATR aircraft, including all ATR 42-600s and ATR 72-600s variants. The Singapore facility is ATR’s fourth training location worldwide, adding to its other facilities in France and Africa. More
