Comair Continues Federal Law Suit

Alleging negligence led to the crash at Lexington, Ky. last August, Comair filed suit against the federal government this week. The crash killed 49 of the 50 people on board. This step mirrors the claim made against the government last October and said FAA failed to control taxiing and departure flights and violated its own guidance requiring two controllers in the tower. Airport and taxiway design, it said, were not up to federal standards. Related Story
