Delta Reports Regional Contribution

Delta Connection regionals contributed $944 million to the major carrier’s operating revenues, an increase of 10.4 percent, in the 2006 fourth quarter. Operating expenses for contract services for the major jumped 4.7 percent to $242 million in the quarter. For the year, Delta Connection operating revenues rose 19.5 percent to $3.8 billion while operating costs rose 101.5 percent to $2.6 billion.
