AeroRepublica Celebrates Arrival of Embraer 190

AeroRepublica, subsidiary of Copa Holdings, S.A. celebrated the arrival of the first four Embraer 190 EJets at Bogota’s Simon Bolivar Air Terminal. The airline is the first domestic Colombian airlines to put the aircraft into service. They are configured to a 106-seat, single class layout as part of the airline’s fleet modernization plan. The EMBRAER 190 replaces AeroRepublica's MD-80s. AeroRepublica is the second-largest domestic carrier in Colombia, providing service to 12 cities in Colombia as well as international connectivity with Copa's Hub of the Americas through daily flights from Bogota and Medellin.
