Airline members of the European Regions Airline Association (ERA) have reported continued scheduled passenger growth of 7.5 percent and the highest load factor on record of 65 percent for the year 2007. This compares with smaller growth for U.S. regionals who have been experiencing load factors of nearly 80 percent. The European figures were released as more than 150 delegates prepare to gather in Malta for the annual spring ERA Regional Airline Conference. For a complete repart see the next issue of Regional Aviation News.
