After booking orders from Aeroflot, Sukhoi announced its first western customer for its Superjet 100-95s. Italian regional, Itali Airlines, ordered 10 with options for another 10, scheduled for delivery between 2009 and 2011. The 20-plane deal is worth $283 million and brings the total order book to 71.
