Pinnacle Orders Q400s for Colgan

Pinnacle Airlines (PNCL) ordered 15 Bombardier (BBD) Q400s for Colgan’s Continental (CAL) Connection service out of Newark. The order includes a conditional order for another 10 and options for an additional 20. It is valued at $381 million for the firm orders and $1.2 billion if all aircraft are exercised.
The transaction increases firm orders for the Q400 aircraft to 215. More than 140 Q400s have been delivered to 18 operators in Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, the Middle East and North America. Four additional customers - Frontier (FRNT), Luxair of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Sky Work Airlines of Switzerland, and Tassili Airlines in Algeria – have Q400s on order.
