Correction

In last week’s report Aviation and Climate Change – Part I, Nancy Young, vice president, environmental affairs for the Air Transport Association was misquoted. She indicated that the industry met very stringent carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxide standards. RAN inadvertently quoted her as saying it met stringent carbon dioxide standards. There is no aircraft carbon dioxide standard.
