Analysis: Republic's fourth quarter earnings were three cents a share better than Wall Street's estimates. Fourth quarter revenue was up primarily because the company was flying 36 70-seat Embraer 170s this year that it was not last year. Between September and November, Republic removed seven 50-seat RJs from US Airways' and United's fleets. Five of these planes have been subleased to foreign carriers and two have been added to Republic's charter fleet.
