Alpine Air To Launch All-New Cargo Retail Freight Airline

Alpine Air Express Inc. [OTC BB: ALPE.OB] and its operating subsidiary Alpine Air, a provider of regional air cargo transport and logistics services, have entered into a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MOU) with American Utilicraft Corp. (AUC) to provide an all-cargo retail flight service to customers.

AUC is developing a new all-cargo retail freight airline and logistics support operation, called AUC X-Press, as part of its corporate growth plan. The non-binding MOU details a joint venture between AUC and Alpine Air Express, which would diversify AUC's business model.

"We are extremely excited to consider this new joint venture," said Gene Mallette, chairman and CEO of Alpine Air. "We see our owner-operator program as an opportunity to use our aircraft and our experienced team as a means to allow others with great aspirations to grow their businesses. Additionally, the program allows us to significantly diversify our customer base. A joint venture with American Utilicraft Corp. is a move toward this end. We look forward to announcing several new customers as part of this venture."

Alpine Air, founded in 1975, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Alpine Air Express. It provides scheduled air cargo flights throughout the Western and Southwestern United States. The company's client base includes various contract operations, freight forwarders and other cargo and logistics firms.
