Adam Aircraft Raises $93 Million
In a bid to accelerate its growth plans, Adam Aircraft completed a $93 million series F funding round, gaining new investors. The company plans to use the new investment, which included a sizable portion from new European investors, to expedite certification of its A700 AdamJet and the production ramp-up of the FAA-certified A500 piston twin. Venture capital firm DCM led the new group of investors, which included Mesirow Financial, W Capital Partners, and DE Shaw Laminar Partners, all of whom joined previous investors Goldman Sachs and Hunt Growth Capital in the round.
