Indianapolis -- Regional Airline Association President Roger Cohen announced Scott Gordon, who has taken his “dream job” with BankAmerica, will be replaced by Stacey Morgan. He also unveiled the association’s new web site which he called cleaner and easier to navigate. He indicated everything at www.raa.org is one to two clicks away.
In addition, the RAA board created a new membership category – an affiliate member – for network airline partners, who have been associate members. The move still does not give them policy-making or voting rights. Cohen said it codifies a relationship that has been evolving over the years.
The association, as of April 30, has 40 operating airline members currently and roughly 285 associate members. Cohen also said that despite tough economic times, the exhibits set a record at The organization is spending time on ways to grow the convention.
The convention will be in Salt Lake City next year between May 18 and 21 and will likely be in Milwaukee in 2010.
