Throughout April, ExpressJet Airlines is celebrating the one-year anniversary of taking to the skies under its own brand. The airline is marking the occasion with celebrations in each of the 24 U.S. cities it serves. In addition, ExpressJet's JetSet Frequent Flyer Program will recognize its number one most frequent flyer and 24 runner-ups with "JetSetter of the Year" Awards. JetSet, the airline's trip-based frequent flyer program, rewards customers for how often they fly, not how far they go.
"Our JetSetters of the Year have shown incredible loyalty to us throughout our first year of operations," said Jim Ream, President and CEO of ExpressJet, "and now it's our turn to return the favor. We want to let them know how important they are to us, and how much we appreciate their continued support and business."
The top JetSetter of the Year, will enjoy a vacation package, including airfare, rental car and hotel with three friends or family members to an ExpressJet city of his choice. In addition, each JetSetter of the Year will receive an array of unique ExpressJet birthday gifts, including free companion tickets and rental cars from ExpressJet travel partners throughout the coming year.
According to Trish Winebrenner, Vice President, Marketing and Sales, "We are a unique airline and due to our size we are able to relate to our customers on a personal level more than some airlines. Our JetSetters of the Year understand that ExpressJet is in the business of saving travelers time by offering non-stop service to less congested airports while providing a comfortable ride on young, fuel-efficient jets. Our one-year birthday is the perfect opportunity to recognize the individuals who have contributed the most to our success."
During the month of April, the airline will also host birthday-themed cocktail receptions in select markets, provide cookies and refreshments at the gate and announce a number of major enhancements to the JetSet Program.
