Eclipse
Paul Schumacher was named by Eclipse Aviation as vice president of manufacturing, replacing vice president of operations Rod Holter, who is leaving Eclipse for family reasons. Schumacher joined Eclipse Aviation from Raytheon Aircraft Company, where he served as vice president of operations and was responsible for all manufacturing and facility operations. Prior to Raytheon, Schumacher spent 27 years at Lockheed Martin in a variety of manufacturing positions and was most recently vice president of operations.
Eclipse also promoted Kate Zaranek as Eclipse's new public relations specialist from her position as sales support representative. Prior to joining Eclipse, Zaranek worked at FedEx Express in air traffic operations and Keyson Airways as a business management associate
Frontier (FRNT)
Frontier named Robert D. Taylor to its board of directors to serve a term through the airline's next annual shareholders meeting in September 2007. Taylor currently serves as managing director and was a founding partner of Blue Capital Management, L.L.C., Prior to Blue Capital, Taylor was with McKinsey and Company where he was elected partner in the Fall of 1992. Taylor has extensive senior leadership experience with a wide range of companies from start-up to Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries including healthcare, entertainment, lodging, oil and gas, transportation and consumer products.
Mesa Air Group (MESA)
Mesa named Paul Skellon vice president of corporate communications and international operations. Skellon worked closely with Chairman and CEO Jonathan Ornstein at Virgin Express in Europe where he was a Boeing 737 training captain and director of corporate affairs and later CEO of the company's French subsidiary. Skellon has played key roles in the start-up or expansion of several successful low-cost carriers including Corse Air in France, Hapag Lloyd in Germany, and Sahara Airlines in India. He has also worked at Air New Zealand.
