With AirTran Airways, the Early Bird Gets the Lowest Sale Fares

ORLANDO, Fla., May 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today launched a sale for travel to all of the airline's destinations with fares starting as low as $29*. Travelers may purchase these sale fares at http://www.airtran.com or via AirTran Airways' reservations system at 1-800-AIR-TRAN. For Spanish, call 1-877-581-9842.

"With AirTran Airways, when you fly early, you can save big," said Matthew Klein, director of pricing and revenue management. "In addition to a great fare, you'll experience America's youngest all-Boeing fleet, offering EasyFit overhead bins, more than 100 channels of XM Satellite Radio at every seat and affordable Business Class seating on every flight."

The special fares are available for purchase through May 17, 2007, are good for travel from May 30, 2007, through June 20, 2007, and are valid for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Early Bird Sale fares are valid for nonstop flights from Atlanta departing before 9:00 a.m. EDT.

*All fares are one-way. All fares are non-refundable and a $60 fee per person applies to any change made after purchase plus any applicable increase in airfare. Reservations may be obtained or changed through an AirTran Airways Telephone Reservations Center for an additional $5 per person. Fourteen-day advance purchase required. Tickets must be purchased by May 17, 2007. Fares are valid for travel only on nonstop flights departing from Atlanta before 9:00 am EDT on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
