WestWind Announces New Vice President of Engineering & Chief Financial Officer

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., March 13 /PRNewswire/ -- WestWind Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of aircraft integration services, has announced that Paul R. Gulbis has joined the company as Vice President of Engineering and Kevin J. Cook has been appointed the Company's Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Cook will report directly to Lt Gen (Retired) Dan Petrosky, President, and will be responsible for the full range of financial activities including accounting, financial planning & analysis, treasury, corporate governance, and investor relations. Mr. Cook is a CPA & CMA with nearly 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. Prior to joining the Westwind Group, Mr. Cook spent the last two years supporting the Prototype Integration Facility on Redstone Arsenal as the Finance Manager and Deputy General Manager of JVYS. Prior to working for JVYS, Mr. Cook was the CFO of Brown International Corporation, a small disadvantaged business engaged in developing and integrating C4I solutions for the U.S. Army. Mr. Cook received his B.S.B.A. in accounting from Central Missouri State University.

Mr. Gulbis will report directly to Mr. Roger Messick, who was recently named Chief Operating Officer of the company. Mr. Gulbis is a long time resident of the Huntsville area and has over 40 years' experience in engineering development and engineering management. He was formerly employed by Chrysler's Pentastar Electronics as Vice President of Engineering which designed and produced automated test equipment for the U.S. Army's combat vehicles. More recently Mr. Gulbis was President of a small firm, Integrated Power Technologies, which provides engineering and logistics services to the Army Aviation community. Mr. Gulbis received his BSEE and MSEE degrees from the University of Illinois and a Master of Administrative Science degree from UAH.
