HOLLYWOOD, Fla., Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Beginning Saturday, Nov. 14, and continuing through Sunday, Nov. 15, Watch-U-Want, Inc., a South Florida dealer of luxury watches and rare timepieces will be sponsoring Festivals of Speed Miami in a benefit for the Injured Officers Assistance Fund, a Michael Fux Foundation.

Festivals of Speed is a weekend getaway where like-minded aficionados gather to enjoy a display of the world's finest in luxury lifestyle products. By joining the very best in automotive, aircraft, and marine transport with the finest in fashion, culinary, wine, and magnificent timepieces, this special event is the ultimate showcase of luxury. Attendees of the event will have the opportunity to experience luxury products on a very intimate level while enjoying the lavish settings of the Epic and Viceroy Hotels alongside the beautiful view of Bayfront Park in downtown Miami.

Watch-U-Want will be on hand with over $1 million in watch inventory for public viewing. Extremely rare and limited special edition watches from manufacturers such as Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Roger Dubuis, Panerai, and many other luxury watch brands will be on display. All attendees will be able to view the latest and greatest trends in luxury sports watches, and also get the chance to speak with the founder of Watch-U-Want, O.J. Whatley. Those attending Festivals of Speed can also request any particular watch to be brought to the event by contacting the staff at Watch-U-Want in advance.

"We are very excited about attending the Festivals of Speed this weekend," says David Berger, Partner and Chief Operating Officer for Watch-U-Want. "Our clients will have the opportunity to connect with O.J. and gain a tremendous amount of knowledge regarding the top watches on the market today. We'll also get a chance to meet and talk with fellow enthusiasts who appreciate fine watches just like we do."

Watch-U-Want will be sponsoring the weekend festivities, which include a Yacht Hop Reception at the Epic Hotel in downtown Miami, a rooftop reception alongside the longest infinity pool in Florida at the Viceroy Hotel, and Sunday's main event, the Motorsports Collection & Luxury Lifestyle Display.

During the event, a live silent auction will also be held where attendees can bid on various items from the leading names in luxury. Proceeds from the auction will go directly to the Injured Officers Assistance Fund, a charitable organization created by businessman Michael Fux in 2008 to recognize the hardships faced by police officers injured on duty.

"It is an honor to be a part of the First Annual Festivals of Speed in Miami," says O.J. Whatley. "We look forward to a fun, eventful weekend and we are glad to be a part of this wonderful cause."
