Virgin America Names Carat as Search Marketing Agency of Record

SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Carat announced today that it has been named as the search marketing agency of record for Virgin America. The account will include a variety of paid search marketing and search engine optimization services, and will be managed by the agency's San Francisco office.

Launched in August 2007, Virgin America is on its way to growing to as many as 10 destinations and over 1,000 employees within its first year. With plans to serve as many as 30 cities in its first five years, Virgin America currently flies to San Francisco (SFO), New York (JFK), Los Angeles (LAX), Washington, DC (IAD), Las Vegas (LAS), San Diego (SAN) -- starting February 12, 2008 and Seattle (SEA) -- starting March 18, 2008.
