US Helicopter and Continental Airlines Announce Codeshare Agreement

NEW YORK, June 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- To further simplify the booking and ticketing experience, US Helicopter Corporation ("US Helicopter") (OTC Bulletin Board: USHP) and Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL) today announced a codeshare agreement to expedite the process for customers connecting between two New York City heliports and Continental's flights at its New York hub at Newark Liberty International Airport.

Effective immediately, Continental has placed its code (CO*) on US Helicopter flights that operate between the Downtown Manhattan or the Atlantic Metroport at East 34th Street and connect to Continental's international BusinessFirst flights at New York Liberty.

"Codesharing improves airline service by simplifying the booking process with electronic ticketing and communication of itinerary information between the two companies," said Mark Erwin, Continental's senior vice president Asia/Pacific and corporate development. "Customers traveling on connecting itineraries are able to have single check-in for all flights, including the issuance of boarding passes and baggage checked through to their final destination."

Codeshare itineraries are eligible for check in at continental.com, airport kiosks or with a US Helicopter or Continental Airlines ticket agent. Members of Continental's frequent flyer program also earn 500 OnePass miles when traveling on codeshare flights operated by US Helicopter.

"US Helicopter and Continental continue to stand out by working together on program benefits that maximize our 'Eight Minute Airport Shuttle' service for time-sensitive global business travelers," comments Jerry Murphy, chief executive officer and president of US Helicopter. "Now, we not only offer a hassle-free airport commute, but also simple methods of booking travel as well."

US Helicopter and Continental Airlines have partnered to provide eight- minute shuttle service between Manhattan and New York Liberty since December 2006. US Helicopter customers traveling on Continental flights complete security screening at the heliport allowing customers to proceed directly to their departure gate at New York Liberty. Continental is the only major airline to operate a hub in the New York City metropolitan area, offering convenient flight connections from New York Liberty Airport to over 150 nonstop destinations throughout the world

A one-way ticket aboard US Helicopter starts at $159, plus applicable security fees and can be purchased by visiting continental.com or flyush.com. US Helicopter's flights between New York Liberty and two New York City heliports operate from 7:15 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
