The City that Never Sleeps and the Home of the Blues - A Perfect Combination

NEW YORK, Sept. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Airlines continues to grow and enhance its New York service announcing today that its regional affiliate, American Eagle, will begin a new route to Memphis, Tenn., from LaGuardia International Airport (LGA) on Dec. 13.

American Eagle will fly the new route twice daily with an Embraer 135 jet seating 37 customers.

"Memphis is the Home of the Blues and the Birthplace of Rock 'n' Roll -- a Southern city rich in history and full of hospitality," said Chuck Imhof, American's Vice President Passenger Sales -- Greater New York. "New Yorkers will love the nightlife that Memphis has to offer."

    The schedule for the new Memphis service is as follows (all times local):

This new route is part of American's ongoing initiative to become the clear-cut airline of choice for passengers in the New York market.
