TAM - Announces Personnel Change

SAO PAULO, Oct. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TAM (NYSE: TAM, BOVESPA: TAMM4) reports that Commander David Barioni Neto resigned today from his position as the company's chairman. The current Vice-President of Finance, Management and IT and Chief Executive Officer of Investor Affairs, Libano Miranda Barroso, a member of the company's Board of Directors since 2004, takes over the position temporarily. For seventeen years, Libano Barroso has held executive positions at large finance institutions. He has also held an executive officer position at Companhia de Concessoes Rodoviarias for six years.
