TAM Announces Approval for Payment of Dividends and Interest on Stockholder's Capital

SAO PAULO, March 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TAM S.A. (BOVESPA: TAMM4, NYSE: TAM) announces to shareholders that its Board of Directors, at a meeting held on March 28, 2008, approved the financial statements, related to the year ended on December 31, 2007. It has also approved the supplementary dividends payment of R$ 0.23 and interest on stockholder's capital of R$ 0.21 per share to all shareholders. Calculation was based on the profits referring to the year 2007 verified in the financial statements. The calendar for payment is as follows:

Date of Credit

All stockholders subscribed in the registers of the company on March 28, 2008 will be entitled to receive dividends and interest approved.

Ex-dividend Date

The transactions carried out on the Sao Paulo Stock Exchange (BOVESPA) and New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) as of, and including, March 31, 2008, will be ex-dividends and interest.

Payment of Dividends and Interest on Stockholder's Capital

The dividends and interest on stockholder's capital will be paid to stockholders on April 15, 2008.
