Jan. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SkyWest, Inc. (Nasdaq: SKYW) reported a 9.1 percent decrease in available seat miles (ASMs) for December, while revenue passenger miles (RPMs) decreased by 3.3 percent compared to the same period last year. The combined airlines generated 1.7 billion ASMs and 1.3 billion RPMs for the month. Load factor was up 4.6 percentage points to 78.2% compared to 73.6% for the same period last year. Passenger boardings for December totaled 2,634,566 a 1.9 percent decrease over
December 2007.
