Notes to Editors:
One Charter plc offers three distinct services: aircraft chartering,
aircraft brokerage and aircraft management and is based next to the new
terminal at Farnborough Airport. The Company's income is derived from three
main areas: selling the aircraft time at a profit; offering brokerage
services to clients when the Company's own aircraft is unavailable/chartered
or when clients require an aircraft of another size; from charging aircraft
management fees; and, providing fractional jet ownership opportunities
Fractional ownership of an aircraft allows customers to bulk-buy flying
hours in advance. This is succeeding in attracting new entrants into the
business aviation market and it has been stated that European fractional and
block hours demand will account for at least 10 to 15 per cent. of jet
production over the next ten years.
In addition to creating its own niche, One Charter is hoping to benefit
from a burgeoning global market in private aircraft travel. Over the last
year there has been a 25% increase in private jet deliveries globally.
