North American Airlines Pilots and Teamsters Approve First Collective Bargaining Agreement

HOUSTON, Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Teamsters Local 747 and North American Airlines Officials reached an Agreement on its first Collective Bargaining Agreement for the pilot group. The Agreement is subject to ratification which is expected to take 30 days.

The Agreement provides for an across the board wage increase up to 13% on the date of signing, better working rules and benefits, a signing bonus, and much needed job security for the pilot group.

"The pilots of North American Airlines can now receive the increased pay and job security they deserve after more than 3.5 years of hard-fought negotiations. This Agreement will serve as a starting point in bringing the pilot group up to industry standards," said Teamsters Local 747 President, E.E. Sowell.
