Midwest Airlines Enhances Schedule: Adds Milwaukee-Minneapolis/St. Paul Frequency and Early Morning Appleton-Milwaukee Flight

MILWAUKEE, June 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Midwest Airlines (Amex: MEH) today announced schedule enhancements on two Midwest Connect routes.

    Effective August 1:

    -- Milwaukee and Minneapolis/St. Paul -- Increasing from four to five
       nonstop roundtrip flights each weekday. The flight will depart
       Milwaukee at midday and depart Minneapolis/St. Paul in the early
       afternoon. Service will be provided on Midwest Connect 50-seat regional
       jets.
    -- Appleton-Milwaukee -- Rescheduling an evening flight to early morning
       to provide passengers with better connectivity through Milwaukee.
       Service will be provided on Midwest Connect 32-seat regional jets.

The schedule enhancements are the next step in the continuing roll-out of Midwest's comprehensive 2007 strategic plan, which includes new destinations, route additions, frequency increases and aircraft upgrades.

"Our Minneapolis/St. Paul route is very popular with passengers and we are pleased to offer them more flight options," said Scott R. Dickson, Midwest Airlines senior vice president and chief marketing officer. "Our Appleton passengers will also soon have more options. Our early morning flight provides customers with greater convenience when connecting through Milwaukee to Midwest's nationwide network."

Tickets for Midwest Connect service may be purchased at http://www.midwestairlines.com. Schedules, including a downloadable timetable, and fares are also available on the Web site.
