NEW YORK,
June 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Medical Services International
Inc. (Pink Sheets: MSITF) wishes to announce that it will make available, at
no cost, every 3 months for the next two years its VScan rapid test kit for
Tuberculosis (TB) to all passengers and crew that can verify that they were on
the Czech Airlines flight from
Prague to
Montreal where the individual had
Tuberculosis (TB).
The VScan TB rapid test kit is a screening test that will tell the
individual using it if they have gone from inactive to active TB status. The
VScan TB test kit is faster and easier than conventional testing. The VScan TB
rapid test kit only detects "live" TB and does NOT give false positives. It is
the only kit that does not give false positives. There is no test available
that is more accurate. It will detect a change in status from inactive to
active (live) status faster than conventional testing. Current testing
available other than the VScan TB test gives false positives 30% of the time.
Using the VScan rapid test kit does not mean that individuals should ignore
the advice of their doctor.
As it will take a significant amount of time before the status of the
individuals can be determined, the Company feels that having the availability
of its VScan TB test kit will reduce some of the anxiety associated with this
situation. For further information please call (780) 430 6363.
