L?Avion Continues Integration with OpenSkies

Offering new services to its passengers and reveals third quarter load factor results

NEW YORK, Oct. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- L’Avion, the first all business class French airline, today announced its third quarter load factor results, new services and amenities for its customers.

3Q Load Factor Results

L’Avion, which offers three flights daily between New York and Orly, revealed an average load factor of 79.8% for its third quarter in 2008 and sold 100,000 tickets as of October 3, 2008. The airline operates 12 weekly flights between Paris-Orly and New York/Newark. To date L’Avion has transported 48,900 passengers from January to September 2008 with a punctuality of 98%. This is especially important for “business” customers who consider these to be key factors when choosing an airline.

New Services and Amenities

L’Avion (shared by Jet Airways) has officially opened a luxurious 2,270-square-foot lounge, which is located at the arrival level of Terminal B which offers seating for more than 104 passengers, complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access, and local phone access. Jet Airways’ first class passengers will be welcomed in an exclusive, private lounge area. With the new lounge L’Avion passengers now have access to the “fast track” lane through security. This makes getting through security easier and less of a hassle.

L’Avion has a new service that they are offering to their customers called “Plane Take Away” which is uploaded to your handheld or iPhone. This new service allows L’Avion customers to access the reservation staff, receive tips on where to go while in Paris or New York and view locations of shops in each city. L’Avion is currently accepting reservations for the OpenSkies daily service between Amsterdam’s Schiphol International Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport. OpenSkies “PREM +” is the equivalent of L’Avion’s business class (two rows of two seats separated by a wide central aisle, power outlets at every seat and individual video players with an on demand in-flight entertainment.
