LAN CARGO has announced that it
will launch service between
Miami and
Guatemala City,
Guatemala, and
San Jose,
Costa Rica in September of this year.
"This is another step in our goal to connect Latin America with the

The cargo market between the U.S. and Central America currently transports
approximately 180,000 tons annually including both imports and exports.
This new operation will rely on a modern fleet of Boeing 767-300F aircraft
which will be joined by new Boeing 777F aircraft during the first quarter of
2009.
