JetBlue Gives Boston More of the West: San Francisco Service Set for Summer

Service to second Bay Area airport resumes May 1

Easy connections to Provincetown, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket*

BOSTON, Dec. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq: JBLU), the customer-centered airline with the most nonstop destinations from Boston, today announces plans to resume its seasonal service to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) effective May 1, 2009. San Francisco is one of 31 nonstop destinations JetBlue offers from Logan International Airport, including seven in the West.

JetBlue’s summer 2009 schedule between Boston and the West boasts the following nonstop service - including three daily flights to the Los Angeles basin and three to the San Francisco Bay Area:

  • Denver (1 daily flight)
  • Las Vegas (1 daily flight)
  • L.A./Long Beach, Calif. (3 daily flights)
  • Oakland, Calif. (2 daily flights)
  • San Diego (1 daily flight)
  • San Francisco (1 daily flight)
  • Seattle (1 daily flight)

All nonstop flights between Boston and the West are operated aboard JetBlue’s roomy Airbus A320 fleet, which offers travelers the most legroom in coach of any U.S. airline (based on average fleet-wide seat pitch for U.S. airlines), unlimited free snacks and beverages, plus the most free live entertainment options of any airline.
