WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn.,
Feb. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Hamilton Sundstrand, a
subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX), has signed an exclusive
spare parts purchase agreement with EVA Airways, which will include all
Hamilton Sundstrand detail spare part purchases in support of EVA Airways'
component repair shops.

Taiwan-based EVA Airways was founded in March 1989. It is 100 percent
privately owned and a sister company to Evergreen Marine Corp., the world-
renowned container shipping line. Since its July 1, 1991 maiden flight, EVA
Airways has thrived and now serves 43 destinations on four continents,
excluding Africa, with 52 aircraft.
