Frontier Airlines Renews Role for Third Year as Official Airline of Copper Mountain and Winter Park Resorts

WINTER PARK, Colo., COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo. and DENVER, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Intrawest Colorado -- operator of Winter Park/Mary Jane and Copper Mountain resorts in Colorado -- and Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) have renewed their relationship for the third year, making Denver-based Frontier Airlines the official airline of Intrawest Colorado. The partnership will continue to provide skiers and riders from across the country with exclusive airfare deals on Frontier and special deals on the slopes of Winter Park and Copper Mountain during the 2006/07-winter season.

A key component of the relationship allows Frontier passengers to redeem their boarding pass receipt at any Copper Mountain or Winter Park lift ticket window to receive a 2-for-1 lift ticket offer. In contrast to prior years, there are no blackout dates for this offer and passengers can redeem their tickets seven days per week throughout the entire 2006/2007 ski season. In addition, Copper and Winter Park Rocky Mountain Super Pass holders who ski or ride 15 days are eligible to earn 5,000 Early Returns miles from Frontier. For more information on these and other upcoming promotions, please visit www.frontierairlines.com/ski4free.

The partnership will also provide the following benefits for Frontier and Intrawest Colorado:

    * Copper Mountain and Winter Park will join Frontier in their support of
community-related projects such as a lift ticket fundraiser taking
place at Larimer Square in Denver on Saturday, December 2, 2006, at
10 A.M. to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Colorado. For more
information on this event, please go to
       http://www.larimersquare.com/holiday/.

    * Web presence on partners' Web sites to promote easy booking and travel
       planning

    * Special offers to frequent fliers and frequent skiers through loyalty
       programs

    * Employees of both Frontier and Intrawest Colorado will have access to
       employee specific deals and promotions

    * Frontier will receive on-mountain and resort signage at both Winter
       Park and Copper Mountain

"This is a great way to celebrate the 2006-2007 ski season at Winter Park and Copper Mountain," said John Happ, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Planning for Frontier. "This season promises to be another great one and we're looking forward to bringing skiers from across the country to two of the U.S.'s favorite winter resorts near our hometown in Colorado."

While the partnership is celebrating its third year, Winter Park/Mary Jane, Copper Mountain and Frontier will be celebrating some recent news all season long:

    * Winter Park recently announced the names of seven newly cut
advanced/expert trails and their designated chairlift designed so
skiers and riders can better access the steep and deep terrain of the
backside of Parsenn Bowl. Scheduled to open in mid-December, skiers
and riders can expect to be greeted with pieces of Native American
history as Winter Park officials worked with current leaders of the
Northern Arapahoe Tribe to decide on eight names belonging to historic
       tribe leaders, symbols and areas.

    * Come play at Copper Mountain, one of the most accessible resorts in
Colorado. This season, Copper's Mountaineering Guides take skiers and
riders to Tucker Mountain and beyond to help develop basic backcountry
skills and awareness. As well, Copper hosts the 10th anniversary of
the 2007 JEEP U.S. Freeskiing Open Championships Jan. 17-21, with
athletes from around the world competing in three different
disciplines: slopestyle, superpipe, and big air. Copper is 100%
powered by wind through renewable wind energy credits and lodging
guests can donate $1 per room night to the National Forest Foundation
to fund local conservation projects in the White River National Forest.

    * Frontier Airlines was recently voted Denver's favorite airline.
Earlier this year, a survey and conducted by independent research firm
Harris Interactive(R) and commissioned by Frontier, asked nearly 600
Denver-area travelers about their airline preferences -- more
respondents chose Frontier as their favorite than any other airline.

Copper is located 75 miles west of Denver on Interstate 70, while Winter Park is located 67 miles north west of Denver just off I-70. Both resorts offer easy access to and from Denver International Airport. For more information on Copper Mountain, call (800) 458-8386 or view www.coppercolorado.com.
