Delta Airlines(R) and SuperShuttle Partner Up to Share Rides and Earn Miles

PHOENIX, Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- SuperShuttle and Delta Airlines announced today a partnership to reward SkyMiles(R) members with miles if they book a shared ride on SuperShuttle to and from their home, office, or hotel and any one of the 29 airports in 24 cities served by SuperShuttle in the U.S.

How it works:

SuperShuttle will offer SkyMiles miles for customers booking airport rides online at http://www.supershuttle.com. SuperShuttle customers will earn 50 miles in each direction for riding SuperShuttle. This program is effective immediately to all Delta customers who are in their frequent flyer programs.

Delta is the fourth airline to have entered into a frequent flyer marketing partnership with SuperShuttle. SuperShuttle also offers US Airways Dividend(R) miles, Northwest Airlines WorldPerks(R) miles, and Frontier Airlines Early Returns(R) miles for reservations booked online.

"SuperShuttle is the only true national airport shared-ride service in the country and we are pleased to be in partnership with Delta Airlines, who serves so many of our customers, said Ken Testani, senior vice-president of marketing and sales for SuperShuttle International. "We believe that offering frequent flyer miles is not only an additional incentive to book SuperShuttle reservations online, but also a reward for customers who know that sharing a SuperShuttle ride to and from the airport saves on gas, means fewer cars on the road and ultimately fewer greenhouse gas emissions."

SuperShuttle International, based in Phoenix, AZ is a division of Veolia Transportation On Demand and a subsidiary of Veolia Environment (Euronext: VIE, NYSE: VE). SuperShuttle serves 27 airports, carrying more than eight million passengers a year. Airports served by SuperShuttle include some of the largest in the country including Los Angeles, New York, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Washington, D.C. and Miami. ExecuCar, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SuperShuttle International, is a luxury sedan service providing customers with an exclusive ride 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
