Delta AirElite Continues Charter Fleet Expansion

Company Adds Five Aircraft to Fleet

CINCINNATI, June 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Delta AirElite Business Jets today announced that it has added five aircraft to its growing fleet of modern business jets. The airplanes, ranging from light jets to ultra-long-range aircraft, are strategically located throughout the United States and are part of the company’s ongoing expansion.

“Delta AirElite continues to add the newest, most popular aircraft to our fleet,” said Curtis Kruger, Delta AirElite’s chief operating officer. “These latest additions are another example of our commitment to offer customers the best possible options for their travel needs.”

New light jets include a Beechcraft Premier I, a Hawker 400XP and a Learjet 31A. A 2009 Cessna Citation XLS+, a mid-size aircraft, was also added to the fleet. The brand new jet is the latest version of the popular Excel model and features a stand-up cabin with the same height and width as the Citation X.

Delta AirElite also added a Gulfstream G550 to the fleet, the company’s third. The G550 is the most technically advanced Gulfstream model in production, offering a nonstop range of 6,700 nautical miles. The aircraft features spacious seating for 15 passengers along with the latest productivity and comfort amenities.

Delta AirElite was one of the first charter operators to certify the G550.

“We remain committed to providing a world-class travel experience for our customers,” Kruger said. “These latest aircraft additions complement our existing fleet and ensure that our customers have access to the aircraft that best suits their requirements.”

The five aircraft join the Delta AirElite fleet through an aircraft management agreement, which provides high-quality and well-maintained jets for the company’s broad base of customers. Aircraft management agreements are an attractive option for corporations and aircraft owners who want to lower aircraft ownership costs, generate revenue and enjoy benefits available only through Delta AirElite.

Delta AirElite Business Jets is a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, providing aircraft charters, aircraft management and its innovative Fleet Membership program, which allows members to purchase flight time by the hour. Delta AirElite combines 25 years of experience serving business travelers with the resources of the world’s largest airline to provide a truly exceptional travel solution. The company operates a diverse fleet of Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault, Gulfstream and Hawker Beechcraft jets. Delta AirElite consistently receives awards for outstanding customer service and has continuously held the coveted ARG/US Platinum safety rating longer than any other operator in the world.
