Boeing Delivers 75th 777 to Emirates

SEATTLE, May 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Boeing (NYSE: BA) yesterday delivered the 75th 777 commercial jetliner to Emirates. The Dubai-based carrier is one of the largest operators of Boeing’s popular twin-aisle, long-haul airplane. Emirates is expected to become the world’s largest 777 operator later this year.

Emirates’ newest 777, a Boeing 777-300ER (Extended Range), departed Paine Field in Everett, Wash., yesterday on its ferry flight to Dubai International Airport in the United Arab Emirates. The airplane is pictured here taking off during flight tests last month.
