American Airlines to Begin Year-Round Nonstop Service Between Miami and Montevideo, Uruguay

MIAMI, May 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Airlines, which became the first airline to fly nonstop between Miami and Montevideo, Uruguay, with seasonal service beginning in 2004, will upgrade the service to nonstop on a year-round basis beginning this July.

American will fly nonstop between Miami and Montevideo three times weekly in each direction. On days the nonstop service does not operate, American will continue to offer service from Miami to Montevideo via Buenos Aires, Argentina.
