American Airlines Teams With MasterCard in AA.com 'Fly Away Get Away' Sweepstakes

FORT WORTH, Texas, April 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- As Americans swing into baseball season, American Airlines is giving one lucky traveler the chance to see his or her favorite baseball team in action around the country. Through June 15, 2007, customers who purchase an airline ticket at AA.com with their MasterCard(R) are automatically entered to win the Ultimate Baseball Fan's prize package in the AA.com "Fly Away Get Away" sweepstakes. Additionally, customers can enter without purchase by registering at http://www.aa.com/promo and/or by forwarding the sweepstakes information to up to four other people.

Customers are eligible for three sweepstake entries per person, and there is no purchase necessary to win. The grand prize includes:

     * A $15,000 MasterCard gift card which can be used towards baseball
       tickets, hotel stays and more

     * $10,000 in American Airlines gift cards for the winner and a guest to
       travel from their hometown to cities such as San Francisco, Boston, New
       York and Chicago

     * A Premium baseball gift bag, courtesy of MasterCard
