American Airlines Federal Credit Union to Present a Car-Buying Seminar Exclusively for Women

FORT WORTH, Texas, Oct. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- American Airlines Federal Credit Union will present "Smart! Savvy! Sophisticated!" -- a seminar designed to empower women by teaching the necessary tools to find and purchase the right car. Barbara Terry, auto expert and off-road race car driver, will host the event. The 90 minute seminar is at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at the C.R. Smith Museum, 4601 Highway 360 at FAA Road in Fort Worth, Texas. The event is free and open to all. Space is limited, so interested parties should register early at http://www.AACreditUnion.org to secure a seat. Click on "Financial Tools & Education" under "Seminars & Events".

Terry will cover a number of topics, including how much car you can afford, how to research the cars you find appealing, and tips to ensure your purchasing decision is the best one possible. "Women make the final decision when purchasing the automobile, whether it is for their own use or their husband and family," said Terry. "We're going to equip attendees with the information to make a confident decision that gets them the vehicle they want at a price they can afford."

About Barbara Terry

Texas native Barbara Terry is one of the country's most sought-after auto expert/off-road race car drivers having made multiple magazine, radio and television appearances, including The CBS Early Show, Inside Edition, CNN and ESPN Radio.
