American Airlines Celebrates New Daily New York to Cincinnati Service With a $238 Inaugural Fare

NEW YORK, April 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, has launched new jet service between New York's LaGuardia Airport and Cincinnati that can serve more than 300 passengers daily. To commemorate the new service, American is offering an introductory round-trip fare of $238.

"We're delighted to serve Cincinnati, an important travel destination for New Yorkers, and to provide nonstop service from Cincinnati to the Big Apple," said Chuck Imhof, American's Vice President for Passenger Sales for Greater New York. "We've been hearing from our corporate customers who are either headquartered in Cincinnati or have sizable facilities there, and from our AAdvantage Program members, that this is a route they want to fly on American, which is the world's largest airline and a founding member of the global oneworld(R) Alliance."

The new Cincinnati service, which began April 10, is part of American's initiative to become the clear-cut airline of choice for passengers in the New York market. American is increasing its presence in New York City by adding a number of new routes, completing its new $1.1 billion terminal at JFK International Airport (including a second new Admirals Club and Flagship Lounge), and upgrading its amenities on international and transcontinental flights.
