AirTran U Teaches a Lesson: Free Flights Save Money

(NYSE: AAI), announced today that AirTran U, the airline's standby program for travelers between the ages of 18 and 22, is offering a lucky winner two free* roundtrip flights per quarter until their 23rd birthday with the Fly Free* Till You're 23 sweepstakes. Entries will be taken at http://www.airtranu.com until June 9, 2008. The winner will be chosen through a random drawing on or about June 12, 2008.

In order to be eligible for the Fly Free* Till You're 23 sweepstakes, entrants must provide their AirTran Airways A+ Rewards number. A+ Rewards is the airline's frequent flier program. Registration for the program is free. Each quarter, AirTran Airways will deposit 32 A+ Rewards credits (equaling two roundtrip flights) into the winner's A+ Rewards account. If the winner is 18 years old at time of entry, he or she will receive the final quarterly prize in January 2013.
