Aviation Today :: AirTran Airways Announces New Service From Harrisburg, Pa., to Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

ORLANDO, Fla., July 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today announced nonstop service between Harrisburg International Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Beginning November 5, flights to Fort Lauderdale will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The route will be flown with 117-passenger Boeing 717 aircraft, featuring 100% fresh air, Business Class and Gogo wi-fi service on every aircraft and XM Radio programming at every seat.

*All fares are one-way. Introductory fare is non-refundable, and a $75 fee per person applies to any change made after purchase plus any applicable increase in airfare.
