(Amex: ANS) today announced completion of the third phase of expansion of its
Friday night flight system. This Friday night flight system now includes
Express Services flights serving major metropolitan markets in the Mid-
Atlantic and Northeast regions of the
United States.
Friday night flights have been added to serve Boston, Hartford, New York,
Philadelphia and Washington, DC. The Friday night network, which now includes
14 cities, also connects nine metropolitan markets in the Midwest region of
the United States. These flights provide very late night departures, very
early morning arrivals and very short transit times. The flights predominantly
serve AirNet's life sciences and laboratory customers where control and time
definite delivery is required.
In the Northwest region, AirNet recently added Saturday through Thursday
flights between Vancouver, British Columbia and Seattle, Washington. These
flights benefit a global health and life sciences company in the distribution
of their medical products throughout the United States. The Monday through
Thursday flights connect with AirNet's U.S. cargo airline operation and will
soon be made available to a wide range of AirNet's customers.
