Air Methods Products Division Awarded EC145 Completion Contract for Geisinger Life Flight

DENVER, July 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Air Methods Corporation (Nasdaq: AIRM) announced today that its Products Division has received a contract from American Eurocopter to provide the completion services for a new EC145 for Geisinger Life Flight based in Danville, PA.

The aircraft will be equipped with Air Methods latest, state-of-the-art medical transport technology as well as a single pilot IFR cockpit and a multitude of airframe accessories such as air conditioning and high intensity external lighting.

This EC145 is just one of a number of aircraft currently under contract. The Products Division is scheduled to complete two EC145's for Tulsa Life Flight, and as previously announced, Air Methods was selected by Mayo Medical Transport, based in Rochester, MN, to complete its EC145 aircraft.
