FORT WORTH, Texas,
Dec. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Airlines,
founding member of the global oneworld(R) Alliance, will be adding more
mainline jets and additional capacity on flights from Lambert
St. Louis
International Airport (STL) beginning
April 10, 2007.
"These changes in our aircraft offerings reflect a continued effort to
match capacity and demand for service at our St. Louis hub," said Loretta
Kuss, American's Regional Manager-Passenger Sales. "Our corporate customers
and business travelers are supporting our flights and that necessitates larger
aircraft to accommodate their travel needs."
The April service changes include:
* STL to Austin, Texas, will feature round trips with one American jet
and one AmericanConnection regional jet
* STL to Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina, will feature two American jet
round trips effective April 10
* STL to San Antonio, Texas, will feature two American jet roundtrips
* STL to Boston will feature three round trips with American jets
As previously announced, American also will add another jet flight from
St. Louis to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport beginning in January
2007.
