Alaska Airlines Cancels 47 Flights Due to Severe Winter Weather in Pacific Northwest

SEATTLE, Dec. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Alaska Airlines has canceled 47 flights today and Sunday to and from Portland, Ore., Seattle and Vancouver, British Columbia, due to severe winter weather hitting the region this afternoon. More cancellations or delays are possible.

"These decisions are guided by our commitment to safety, and we are making every effort to re-accommodate passengers whose flight schedules have been disrupted."
