DENVER,
Nov. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Frontier Airlines enjoyed another
strong showing in the Department of Transportation's (DOT) monthly "Air Travel
Consumer Report", which details the operational performance of the country's
19 largest air carriers, including the 11 recognized major airlines. The DOT
released its
September 2008 stats on Friday.

in September 2008, leading the industry with a 91.4% on-time arrival rate at
the DOT's 32 largest airports. When looking at all domestic airports, Frontier
led all major carriers, and trailed only Hawaiian Airlines among all airlines,
in on time arrivals. September also marked the third consecutive month in
which Frontier ranked among the top three major carriers in on-time

details flights that are chronically delayed or canceled (over 70% of

marking the third consecutive month Frontier has ranked among the top
five major carriers in baggage handling.

passenger complaints. Through the end of September, Frontier ranked
third among major carriers in fewest complaints filed with the DOT for
the year.
"Our employees continue to raise the bar for excellence in running our
